Meet The Team

Cereus is my other rescue.   She is an 8-year-old Alaskan Husky.  She was very feral when I got her and took me a few months to even touch her.  Now she is the most loyal and loving dog, she is retired off the main race team but still helps to train the puppies or the young racers learning how to lead. she gives the best hugs and loves children she is one of my main demonstration dogs.

Trix is a lovely 12-year-old euro hound.  Don't let this picture fool you she is very hyper.  She is fully retired from racing even though she doesn't think she should be.  She was my main leader for many years and is always so happy and a goof.  Most of my kennel is related to her and she is a strong foundation to my current racing team.

Trillium is a newer member to the kennel.  She is a 5-year-old euro hound that we adopted this spring.  Besides her gorgeous markings she is the easiest going dog.  But get her in the backyard with all the other dogs and she is the goofiest thing on 4 legs. She loves to play and see how hard she can tackle you.  She whelped a litter this spring and we kept two of the pups which will be down below.

Ember is a 4-year-old Euro hound and daughter of Trix.  She has taken after her mom in being my main leader on the race team.  She is the fastest dog in the kennel and team.  Ember also has the brains to match. She loves getting cookies and belly rubs. Her love for playing fetch with tennis balls keeps her in shape all year long. 

Bolt is a 4-year-old Euro hound.  He is the Son of Trix and brother of Ember.  He is also a leader for my team. He is such a goofy boy as you can see by his picture, but he has little patience when the harness comes out.  He is always ready to rock and roll down the trail.  But he also loves to just curl up in front the windows and sleep.  He loves getting pets and of course cookies.

Blitz is a 4-year-old Euro hound.  Son of Trix and brother to both Bolt and Ember.  This year he has been training in lead with sister Ember.  He is the most loveable boy; he is eager to please everyone.  He is one the most hardworking and driven dogs here, but he also has a super sweet side, he loves hugs and getting kissed on his cheeks.  I love pairing the brothers together as they just match perfectly.  

Diva is a 2-year-old Euro hound.  She is an absolute joy and always happy.  She has been training in lead this season with Ember and Blitz and has been rocking it out.  She is super soft and loves kids.  I am super excited to see how she progresses throughout the rest of the season into next year.

Uku is a 2 year old Euro hound, he is the son out of Trillium.  He is a big, big boy but a gentle giant.  He loves giving hugs.  He has been in harness a couple of times and is doing amazing.  He has a big, long stride and I can't wait to see how he develops in the following year.

Ronnie is 7 years old and also a Euro-Hound.  At 2 years old she tore her CCL, similar to a human tearing an ACL.  she underwent surgery and physical therapy.  she is still able to run in harness, and you would never know about her injury.  She is definitely the loudest dog I own, she screams, loudly.  But she is the clown of the group and loves to give hugs.
